The supervisory layer is based on American NI Companys graphical software- LabVIEW to set up the monitoring inte

2、rface. The control layer is based on Matlab/Simulink software to simulate the wind power generation system model. With researching the mathematic model of wind turbine and analyzing control strategy of Double-fed induction generator, a variable-speed constant-frequency (VSCF) wind power generation t

3、raining system is presented. The main operations of wind power generation system have been implemented including cutting-in control, maximum power point tracking (MPPT) at low wind speed and power control /variable pitch control at the rated wind speed. The corresponding curves in simulink and LabVI

4、EW platforms are acquired. Ithas a lot of advantages such as high wind energy utilizationcoefficient, security, and reliability. Because of th

6、eseadvantages, wind power generation unit has been widely used.More and more wind farm operators are needed to acquire theprofessional knowledge. However, it is not only affecting thepower production, but also being dangerous, if the stafftraining on real power unit. Therefore, the software training

7、system of wind power generation becomes an urgent need.Besides it has been widely recognized that the use ofsimulation system is suitable for vocational training. Thispaper presents a training system in which the control layer isbased on Matlab/Simulink 9, 13 and the supervisory layer isaccording to

8、 LabVIEW. The operation results show that thetraining system provides a good tool for improving the windpower knowledge and operation skills of operator and other learners.II. SOFTWARE INTRODUCTIONA. Brief introduction of LabVIEW and Simulink LabVIEW is a graphical programming language. As a standar

9、d data acquisition and instrument control software, it is widely accepted by industry, academia and research laboratories. It is specifically designed to take measurements, analyze data, and present results to the user. Moreover, LabVIEW has such a versatile graphical user interface and is so easy t

10、o program with, it is also ideal for simulations, presentation of ideas, general programming, or even teaching basic programming concepts. Matlab is the interactive computing software. It is mainly oriented to Engineering and scientific. Simulink is an additional component of Matlab. It can be used

11、to model, analysis and simulate dynamic systems which include continuous systems, discrete time systems, hybrid systems and etc.B. LabVIEW & Simulink communication This system is based on the Simulink/LabVIEW. How to realize the interaction of two soft wares is vital importance. So an experiment is

12、adopted to prove the convenient and the interaction. Concrete steps are as follows: 1) A test model: As shown in fig.1, a simulink off-line model is seted up. The communication between LabVIEW and Matlab/Simulink is accomplished by a specifically Module - Signal Probe which is provided by NI Company

13、. Other modules are provided by Simulink . They support dragging and double-clicking their icon to change parameters. 2) Communication properties set: The Matlab/Simulink is pseudo-real-time simulation software. However, the training system requires a real-time simulation. For these factors, a real-

14、time application is adopted which allows the simulation system being synchronous with a running clock. Steps are as follows:Firstly, in the Simulink window, select Configuration Parameters/Solver to set simulation start/stop time and solver options. Secondly, choose Real-Time Workshop tab to selects

15、 Real-Time Windows Target as the target environment of system. And the target file is generated. Thirdly, at Real-Time Workshop tab, click Build button to create C code. By compiler link, the executable applications are generated, and could be downloaded to the target machine. 3) Communication with

16、LabVIEW: After the above steps, the superior-inferior communication has been implemented. The data of simulink can be transformed to the scope of LabVIEW via the signal probe. The graphical user interface is shown in fig.2. III THE MATHEMATICAL MODEL OF. VSCF WIND POWER GENERATIONA.
