8、einafterreferredtoas“in-cylinderfuelinjector”)andafuelinjectionmechanismthatinjectsfuelintoanintakepassageoranintakeport(i.e.,afuelinjectorforintakepassageinjection,hereinafterreferredtoas“intakepassagefuelinjector”).Moreparticularly,theinventionrelatestoafuelsupplysystemthatcanimprovestartabilityof

9、aninternalcombustionengine.2.DescriptionoftheRelatedArtAgasolineengineisknownwhichisprovidedwithafastfuelinjectionvalveforinjectingfuelintoacombustionchamberoftheengine(i.e.,anin-cylinderfuelinjector)andasecondfuelinjectionvalveforinjectingfuelintoanintakepassage(i.e.,anintakepassagefuelinjector),an

10、ddividestheinjectedfuelbetweenthein-cylinderfuelinjectorandtheintakepassagefuelinjectoraccordingtotheenginespeedandengineload.Also,adirectinjectiongasolineengineisalsoknownwhichisprovidedwithonlyafuelinjectionvalveforinjectingfuelintothecombustionchamberoftheengine(i.e.,anin-cylinderfuelinjector).In

11、ahighpressurefuelsystemthatincludesanin-cylinderfuelinjector,fuelofwhichthepressurehasbeenincreasedbyahighpressurefuelpumpissuppliedtothein-cylinderfuelinjectorviaadeliverypipe.Thein-cylinderfuelinjectortheninjectsthehighpressurefuelintothecombustionchamberofeachcylinderoftheinternalcombustionengine

12、.Inaddition,adieselengineisalsoknownwhichhasacommonrailtypefuelinjectionsystem.Inthiscommonrailtypefuelinjectionsystem,fuelwhichhasbeenincreasedinpressurebyahighpressurefuelpumpisstoredinacommonrail.Thehighpressurefuelistheninjectedintothecombustionchamberofeachcylinderofthedieselenginefromthecommon

13、railbyopeningandclosinganelectromagneticvalve.Inordertoincreasethepressureof(i.e.,pressurize)thefuelinthiskindofinternalcombustionengine,ahighpressurefuelpumpisprovidedwhichisdrivenbyacamprovidedonadriveshaftthatisconnectedtoacrankshaftoftheinternalcombustionengine.JapanesePatentApplicationPublicationNo.JP-A-2005-139923describesahighpressurefuelsupplysystemforaninternalcombustionenginethatcanreducevibrationalnoise
